Terms of Service and Membership Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Speaking 2 Impact & Change ("we," "us" or "our"), which operates Call2Speak™. They apply when you visit call2speak.com, register for a Call2Speak event, apply to the community or buy a membership. By doing any of those things, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or buy a membership.
The short version. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel online anytime, and your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments are non-refundable. Call2Speak shares speaking business opportunities, but we don't guarantee paid speaking engagements, bookings or income. The full details are below and in our Membership Fee & Cancellation Policy and Earnings & Results Disclaimer, which are part of these terms.
1. Who can join
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to register or buy a membership.
Call2Speak is an application-based community. We may review applications and may decline or delay any application at our discretion. If you join on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms for it.
2. Membership plans and pricing
Call2Speak is a membership community. You pay a membership fee, either once a year or once a month, and both options include the same membership benefits. The fee and renewal terms shown at checkout are the ones that apply to you.
- Annual Membership: $997 per year, billed once a year and renewed automatically each year until you cancel.
- Fast-action discount: when offered, the code CALL2SPEAK takes $500 off the first year of the Annual Membership, so your first year is $497. The discount applies to the first year only. Your membership renews at the regular annual rate, currently $997 per year, unless we've agreed to a different rate with you in writing.
- Monthly Membership: $99.97 per month, billed every month and renewed automatically each month until you cancel.
- Founding Members: members we've invited as Founding Members may receive a waived first year or a grandfathered renewal rate. Those terms are confirmed to each Founding Member in writing.
Prices are in US dollars and don't include any taxes that may apply. Discount codes can't be combined and have no cash value. We may change membership prices in the future. If a change affects your renewal price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then.
3. Automatic renewal, cancellation and refunds
By buying a membership, you authorize us, through our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal or Google Pay, depending on how you pay), to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period (every year for the Annual Membership, every month for the Monthly Membership) until you cancel.
You can cancel anytime online at call2speak.com/account, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
All payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused time and benefits you didn't use, except where the law requires otherwise or as described in our Membership Fee & Cancellation Policy.
4. What membership includes
Membership benefits are described on our website and at checkout. They may include live group coaching and community calls, recordings and training in our member library, community discussion spaces, member showcases, and early or discounted access to speaking business opportunities and programs.
We may add, change, reschedule or retire specific benefits, sessions, platforms or presenters as the community grows, as long as the membership as a whole stays substantially similar in value. Live sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled. Missed sessions aren't refunded or credited, though we'll usually share a recording when one exists.
Some programs and services are sold separately and aren't part of membership unless we say so in writing. Examples include book and anthology projects, live and in-person events, certifications, one-on-one coaching, conference booths and done-for-you or done-with-you business services. Those may have their own price and terms.
5. No guarantee of speaking engagements or results
Call2Speak helps members build a speaking business through education, practice, collaboration and accountability, and we share speaking business opportunities when we have them. We don't promise or guarantee that you'll be booked, paid to speak, featured on any stage, published, or earn any amount of money. Opportunities are limited, often competitive, sometimes unpaid, and decided by the event organizer or partner, not by us.
Your results depend on your own effort, skills, experience, market and many factors outside our control. Please read our Earnings & Results Disclaimer before you join.
6. Community conduct
To keep the room safe and serious, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, demean or discriminate against anyone;
- share other members' personal information, recordings or private content outside the community without permission;
- spam members, or pitch them in private messages without their consent;
- post content that's unlawful, misleading, infringing or sexually explicit;
- share your login or let someone else use your membership;
- copy, resell or redistribute our training materials.
We may remove content, suspend or end a membership that breaks these rules. If we end your membership for breaking these terms, you won't receive a refund.
7. Recordings and your image
Live calls, masterclasses and events may be recorded. Recordings may be shared with members in our member library and, for public events, used in Call2Speak promotion. By attending, you agree that your name, voice, image and comments may appear in those recordings. If you'd rather not appear, keep your camera off, use a first name only and use the chat, or tell us before the session starts.
We'll ask your permission before we use your testimonial, speech or video in our marketing.
8. Our content and yours
Our trainings, recordings, frameworks, templates, workbooks and the Call2Speak name and logos belong to us or our licensors. With an active membership, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own speaking development. You may not copy, sell, share or teach them as your own.
You keep ownership of the content you create and post, including your speeches and stories. By posting in a member space, you give us permission to host and display it to members so the community can work, and to give you feedback on it.
9. Assessments and professional advice
The Neuro-Agility™ Profile and other assessments we offer are educational tools for self-awareness and growth. They're not medical, psychological or psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses or treatment.
Nothing in Call2Speak is legal, tax, financial, medical or mental health advice. Please talk to a qualified professional about those matters.
10. Third-party services
We use outside services to run Call2Speak, such as our checkout platform with Stripe and PayPal for payments, Zoom for live sessions, Brevo for email and an online platform for our member library. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We're not responsible for outages or changes on those services, and links to outside sites and events don't mean we endorse them.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The website, events and membership are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and any warranty that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our founders, partners, coaches and team members won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost income, lost bookings or lost opportunities, arising out of your use of Call2Speak.
Our total liability for any claim related to Call2Speak is limited to the amount you paid us for membership in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that come from content you post, your breach of these terms or your violation of anyone else's rights.
14. Ending your membership
You can cancel anytime as described above. We may suspend or end a membership if you break these terms, if a payment fails and isn't resolved, or if we stop offering the community. If we end the community or your membership without any fault on your part, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute comes up, please email us first so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can't, the dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Lake County, Florida, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date, and if the changes are significant we'll email active members before they take effect. If you keep your membership after the changes take effect, the updated terms apply.
17. General
These terms, together with the policies linked in them and the terms shown at checkout, are the full agreement between you and us about Call2Speak. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer your membership without our written permission.
